First Mining Gold Corp. has successfully negotiated a settlement with the Cat Lake First Nation over the construction of an 18-km temporary winter road to the Springpole exploration camp, which is crucial for the transport of supplies and personnel. The settlement concludes the judicial review initiated by the CLFN challenging the permits approved by Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. The company is actively engaging with the CLFN and local community leaders to foster collaborative relationships and ensure environmental stewardship in the area.
