First Development Resources Plc ( (GB:FDR) ) has issued an update.
First Development Resources has outlined the next phase of its gold exploration programme at the Selta Project in Australia’s Northern Territory, launching a Gradient Array Induced Polarisation geophysical survey focused on the Lander West gold target, interpreted as an extension of the Stafford Gold Trend adjacent to known high-grade gold and antimony mineralisation. The GAIP work, to be conducted by specialist contractor Zonge from mid-January over four survey blocks, will be integrated with ongoing high‑resolution aeromagnetic and radiometric surveys and historical drilling data to refine geological models, prioritise and define drill targets, and systematically advance Selta through the exploration pipeline, potentially strengthening FDR’s position in a prospective gold corridor and informing capital allocation for future drilling campaigns.
