First Bancorp (FNLC) just unveiled an announcement.
Susan A Norton, a key executive with The First Bancorp since 1992, has announced her retirement set for February 14, 2025. Norton, who has significantly contributed to the company’s growth through various roles and has been on the Executive Management Team since 2002, will pass her responsibilities to Marcia Benner and Jody Brown. Benner, with experience as EVP/CAO at another bank, will take over Human Resources and Marketing, while Brown, with the bank since 2002, will handle Compliance/BSA and Risk, with both poised to join the Executive Management Team.
