First Atlantic Nickel Corp, a company involved in nickel mining, has announced a significant expansion of its RPM Zone within its Atlantic Nickel Project in Newfoundland. The second phase of drilling has increased the width of visible awaruite nickel-alloy mineralization to 750 meters, a 50% increase from the previous phase. This expansion highlights the robust potential of the RPM Zone and the efficiency of awaruite, a sulfur-free nickel-iron-cobalt alloy, which simplifies processing and reduces environmental impact compared to traditional nickel ores. The company plans further updates on the project as it continues to explore the 30-kilometer Pipestone Ophiolite Complex.
