Firering Strategic Minerals Plc is poised to begin commissioning the first of eight quicklime kilns by Q4 2024 in Zambia, with significant advancements including a switch to coal gasification for kiln operation and ongoing discussions for quicklime offtake agreements, buoyed by rising copper production in the region. The company is also leveraging its operations to create multiple revenue streams by selling aggregate and negotiating the leasing of HFO tanks for diesel storage. Additionally, an independent consultant has confirmed the potential for extending the life of the mine by identifying an additional 95Mt Exploration Target.
