Firering Strategic Minerals Plc ( (GB:FRG) ) just unveiled an announcement.

Firering Strategic Minerals reported further operational progress at its Limeco lime operation in Zambia, underscoring its strategy to become one of the region’s largest lime suppliers to mining, agricultural and industrial markets. Kiln 2 is now achieving discharge rates above 60 tonnes per day, exceeding Kiln 1, while work has begun to bring Kilns 3 and 4 online in the third and fourth quarters to support a significant capacity expansion.

The company has expanded its manual hydrated lime circuit to four in-house-built units, with a fifth under construction, and plans to automate once all four kilns are running. Installation of the limestone milling circuit is advancing toward commissioning in the third quarter, and growing commercial engagement, supported by new branded packaging, is expected to strengthen Limeco’s regional market presence and support rising demand for its lime products.
