Firebird Metals Ltd. has entered a development agreement with Zhongji Sunward Technology Co., Ltd to co-fund a pilot plant for a new energy-saving calcining technology, with the potential to reduce energy usage by 80% in Firebird’s proposed battery grade manganese plant in China. If the pilot is successful, Firebird will receive a 5% royalty on future sales revenue from Sunward, leveraging the technology’s broad industrial applications and enhancing their cost-efficiency in manganese sulphate production.
