Filtronic plc has announced a significant strategic partnership with SpaceX, involving an initial $19.7 million deal to supply E-band Solid State Power Amplifiers for the Starlink constellation. The collaboration includes the issuance of warrants to SpaceX that could lead to SpaceX owning up to 10% of Filtronic’s share capital, contingent on future order volumes. The partnership marks a major step in Filtronic’s engagement with the LEO space market and strengthens the company’s position as a critical supplier for high-speed internet infrastructure.
