Filtronic plc has secured a pivotal strategic partnership with SpaceX, entailing the supply of E-band Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPA) for the Starlink satellite constellation, with an initial order valued at $19.7 million. The deal includes issuing warrants to SpaceX, allowing them to acquire up to 10% of Filtronic’s share capital, contingent on order milestones. Filtronic’s CEO highlights the importance of the agreement in scaling the company’s manufacturing and technological development, while SpaceX affirms Filtronic’s vital role in expanding the Starlink network.
