Figtree Holdings Limited has announced the resignation of Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as the company’s auditors, effective 14 March 2024. The decision comes after EY expressed concerns about insufficient audit coverage due to audits of Chinese subsidiaries being conducted by a different firm. Figtree is set to propose a new auditor for shareholder approval in an upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting, with details to be provided in a forthcoming circular.
