FIDEA Holdings Co. Ltd. has launched FIDEA ENERGY Co. Ltd., a new venture aimed at supporting regional decarbonization efforts through a renewable energy-based electricity retail business. The company, based in Akita Prefecture, plans to leverage its expertise in renewable energy to boost the local economy and reduce carbon emissions. FIDEA ENERGY will begin retailing electricity in the first half of FY2025, initially targeting its subsidiaries before expanding to regional businesses.
