Ferroglobe Seeks Fair Play in Ferrosilicon Market

Ferroglobe PLC (GSM) has released an update.

Ferroglobe PLC and its U.S. subsidiary have filed petitions alleging that imports of ferrosilicon from Russia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and Brazil are unfairly traded and damaging the U.S. industry. They seek to impose special duties on these imports to combat the alleged dumping margins of up to 212% and various subsidies. The petitions aim to restore fair competition and protect American ferrosilicon producers, their employees, and communities.
