Ferrari ( (IT:RACE) ) just unveiled an announcement.

Ferrari reported on May 4, 2026 that it continued executing a €250 million share buyback tranche, part of a multi-year €3.5 billion repurchase program planned through 2030, by acquiring 44,782 common shares on Euronext Milan between April 27 and April 30, 2026 for about €13.1 million at an average price of €293.06 per share. Since the April 10, 2026 launch of this second tranche, Ferrari has spent roughly €42.8 million on 141,819 shares, bringing total purchases under the broader program since January 5, 2026 to 1,027,264 shares for €303.6 million, and as of May 1, 2026 it held 17,561,490 treasury shares, about 9% of its issued common share base, underscoring an aggressive capital return strategy ahead of a planned but not yet effected share cancellation approved in mid-April.

These buybacks increase Ferrari’s treasury stake to 9.06% of outstanding common shares, or 9.42% of total share capital including special voting shares, potentially enhancing earnings per share and signaling management confidence in long-term value. The ongoing repurchases, conducted across EXM and NYSE and detailed on the company’s website, reinforce Ferrari’s commitment to a sizeable, structured capital return framework that could influence liquidity, ownership structure and valuation for existing shareholders over the coming years.

The most recent analyst rating on (IT:RACE) stock is a Buy with a EUR475.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Ferrari stock, see the IT:RACE Stock Forecast page.
