Far Northern Resources Limited ( (AU:FNR) ) has shared an announcement.
Far Northern Resources has reported one-metre assay results from Phase Two reverse circulation drilling at its Bridge Creek mining lease in the Northern Territory, confirming extensions of gold mineralisation to the north, south and at depth below the current ore body. The program delivered multiple significant gold intercepts in northern, southern and infill holes, including the first deep drilling beneath the known resource, which intersected the primary south-dipping lode about 75 metres below the existing resource block.
The company plans to use these results to reassess previously excluded drilling data, update its Bridge Creek Central and potentially South resource models, and undertake high-level resource optimisation. Further metallurgical, geotechnical and targeted extension drilling is planned to refine recovery assumptions, support pit design and mine planning, and improve drill density in priority near-resource areas, potentially enhancing the project’s development prospects and resource base.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:FNR) stock is a Hold with a A$0.18 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Far Northern Resources Limited stock, see the AU:FNR Stock Forecast page.
