FAR Limited has been notified by Woodside Energy of a claim amounting to US$6,029,899 under the Sale and Purchase Agreement related to FAR’s sale of its interest in the RSSD Project to Woodside in 2021. The claim arises from a decision by the Senegal Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines, which prevents Woodside from recovering certain petroleum expenditures. FAR has not accepted liability and is seeking further information from Woodside, while reserving its rights under the agreement.
