Falcon Oil & Gas ( (TSE:FO) ) has provided an update.
Falcon Oil & Gas shareholders have overwhelmingly approved the company’s previously announced transaction with Tamboran Resources Corporation, with about 99.76% of votes cast in favour at a special meeting on 11 March 2026. The vote met both the supermajority and minority approval thresholds, with roughly 41% of Falcon’s outstanding shares represented, and related-party executives’ votes excluded for minority approval purposes.
Completion of the deal remains subject to court approval in British Columbia, NYSE listing consent for Tamboran shares, and other customary closing conditions, so timing is not guaranteed despite an expected closing around 16 March 2026. If completed as planned, Falcon’s shares will be suspended and then delisted from trading on AIM in mid-March, marking a significant structural change for investors as the company transitions into Tamboran’s corporate framework.
