F5, Inc. has announced key executive appointments with Thomas D. Fountain stepping in as the new Chief Operating Officer and Chad Whalen taking over as Chief Revenue Officer, both effective August 30, 2024. Fountain brings a wealth of experience from previous strategy and development roles at McAfee and Intel, and holds multiple degrees from Stanford University. Whalen has a background in sales leadership, including at Fortinet and Jasper, and holds a B.A. from Eastern Washington University. These changes come as the company also discloses the upcoming resignation of their current Chief Product Officer, Kara Sprague.
