Excalibur Metals has identified a new high-priority bulk-tonnage gold and silver target at its Bellehelen Project in Nevada after integrating remote-sensing AVIRIS hyperspectral data with ground-based spectral surveys. The work outlines a broad, high-level argillic alteration zone over 1.5 km wide along major structures, which management believes is indicative of a potentially large disseminated mineral system comparable to nearby Round Mountain.
In response to these results, the company has staked an additional 102 unpatented mineral claims covering 2,107 acres to the northwest, bringing Bellehelen to 271 claims over 5,600 acres along a 10+ km mineralized trend. The expanded land position and new alteration model will guide follow-up mapping, sampling, geophysics, and upcoming drilling at the Spyglass target, which could materially advance Excalibur’s exploration pipeline and regional footprint if subsequent assays confirm the geophysical and spectral indicators.
