Evolution Energy Minerals reported that March quarter activities centred on advancing exploration at its Chikundo Copper Project in Tanzania and strengthening its balance sheet through an oversubscribed A$4.18 million capital raising. The company also continued work on funding and development pathways for its Chilalo Graphite Project and maintained regulatory engagement over Mining Licence ML 716/2023.
During the quarter, Evolution completed a 1,558-sample soil geochemical program across the Chikundo, Chikundo East and Nangurugai prospects and reinterpreted airborne electromagnetic data to refine its geological model for copper mineralisation. This work defined multiple high-priority drill target zones along a structurally complex corridor, which will be ranked once pending soil assay results are received, potentially paving the way for the next phase of drilling and de-risking of the Chikundo exploration strategy.
