Evergy has announced the appointment of W. Bryan Buckler as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, 2024. Buckler brings extensive experience from his previous role as CFO at OGE Energy Corp. and prior positions at Duke Energy Corporation. His compensation includes a $660,000 base salary, an annual incentive plan, long-term incentives, and additional benefits such as stock units and a severance plan. Buckler’s financial expertise and leadership skills are expected to contribute significantly to Evergy’s future growth and financial strategy.
