Evergy, Inc. announced the addition of Dean Newton and Jon Rolph to its Board of Directors, effective October 15, 2024, and January 1, 2025, respectively. Newton, with a background as CEO of Delta Dental of Kansas and involvement in numerous non-profit boards, brings extensive leadership and regulated business experience. Rolph, currently CEO of Thrive Restaurant Group, offers over two decades of business leadership and community engagement. Both appointees fulfill Nasdaq’s independence requirements and will participate in Evergy’s Operations and Finance Committees, enhancing the company’s strategic navigation in the energy sector.
