Mark A. Ruelle has decided not to seek re-election to Evergy, Inc.’s board of directors and will retire as Chairman when his term ends on May 7, 2024. His departure is amicable, with no disagreements with the company cited. David Campbell is set to take over as Chairman while Ruelle will continue his duties until the May shareholder meeting. Evergy has expressed gratitude for Ruelle’s three decades of service.
