China Evergrande Group, currently in liquidation, has informed shareholders and potential investors that despite liquidators’ efforts to manage assets, the company’s financial challenges and high levels of debt leave little prospect for restructuring to meet the conditions needed to resume trading of its shares. The trading of shares remains suspended since January 29, 2024, and will continue indefinitely, with the company open to discussions with potential investors interested in its restructuring.
