EV Resources Limited ( (AU:EVR) ) has shared an announcement.
EV Resources has reported initial assay results from its maiden diamond drilling program at the Lirios 1 target within the Los Lirios Antimony project in Mexico, confirming a broad, shallow carbonate replacement system with antimony mineralisation intersected in four of the first five holes. The CRD horizon begins at depths of less than 10 metres and shows lateral continuity, suggesting a potentially large, tabular mineralised envelope suitable for bulk-tonnage open-pit development if subsequent drilling supports resource definition.
High-grade intercepts, including 3.05 metres at 2.10% antimony from 8.1 metres, highlight the role of feeder structures in concentrating grade while surrounding zones exhibit consistent lower grades that support a bulk-tonnage model. The shallow, gently folded geometry and largely free-digging overburden are seen as favourable for future mining economics, and EV Resources is now designing a Phase 2 drilling program to rapidly define the system footprint and advance toward a maiden JORC mineral resource estimate targeted for the third quarter of calendar 2026.
