Estrella Resources Limited ( (AU:ESR) ) has provided an announcement.
Estrella Resources has completed a Category B market appraisal extraction at its Ira Miri Manganese Project in Timor-Leste, defining a Stage 1 stockpile of about 27,371 tonnes, including 4,984 tonnes of high-grade material grading 49.38% manganese. Direct pit exposure has confirmed structurally complex, high-grade mineralisation, with the system remaining open at depth and along pit walls, and in-situ grades reaching up to 60.22% manganese.
The company is now conducting sizing and yield studies to optimise product specifications across high-, medium- and low-grade stockpiles as it advances shipment preparation and export approvals. Planned larger geophysical surveys and further drilling are expected to test the scale and depth of mineralisation and inform potential progression to a higher-level development phase, underpinning Estrella’s efforts to cement its early-mover advantage in Timor-Leste’s emerging manganese industry.
