Essity has continued to execute its ongoing share buyback program, repurchasing 241,501 Class B shares on Nasdaq Stockholm between March 2 and March 6, 2026. The program, totaling up to SEK 3bn and running until the 2026 annual general meeting, is being carried out under EU market regulations and is financed by operational cash flow after dividends.

With these latest transactions, Essity has cumulatively bought back 10,909,482 shares under the program at a total value of about SEK 2.83bn, bringing its treasury stock to 11,691,982 Class B shares out of 693,054,489 total shares. The move underscores management’s intention to make buybacks a recurring element of capital allocation, potentially supporting earnings per share and signaling confidence in the company’s financial strength to investors.
