Essentra plc has announced the purchase of 11,500 of its own ordinary shares as part of a buyback program initiated in March 2023, with the intention to cancel these shares, adjusting the number of voting rights for shareholders. Post-cancellation, Essentra’s total issued share capital will consist of 287,751,744 ordinary shares. The transaction was carried out through broker Peel Hunt LLP, with all shares bought at a uniform price of 178.4 pence per share.
