Essentra (GB:ESNT) has released an update.
Essentra plc has successfully executed a share buyback on July 31, 2024, purchasing 11,500 of its own ordinary shares at a uniform price of 161.4 GBp per share, with plans to cancel the acquired shares. This move will reduce the number of Essentra’s shares in issue to 287,832,244, excluding treasury-held shares, consequently adjusting the total voting rights available to shareholders. The transaction, part of a buyback programme announced earlier in March 2023, was facilitated by brokerage firm Peel Hunt LLP.
