Essentra plc has recently purchased 11,500 of its own ordinary shares as a part of its ongoing buyback program, paying a volume-weighted average price of 168.4 GBp per share. These shares are set to be cancelled, which will adjust the total number of voting rights in the company to 287,717,244. The buyback is in line with the company’s strategy as announced on March 29, 2023, and is executed through the broker Peel Hunt LLP.
