Essentra plc has actively participated in the stock market with the recent purchase of 11,500 of its own ordinary shares on September 2, 2024, at a uniform price of 176.73 GBp per share, with the intention to cancel these shares. This buyback is part of a programme announced back in March 2023, and following the cancellation, the total number of voting rights in Essentra will be 287,728,744. The company’s move is likely to impact shareholders’ notifications regarding their interest in Essentra as per the Financial Conduct Authority’s rules.
