Essentra plc has completed the purchase of 11,500 of its own ordinary shares on August 7, 2024, at a volume-weighted average price of 156 GBp per share as a part of its ongoing buyback program. These shares are intended to be cancelled, which will leave the company with 287,809,244 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury-held shares. The cancellation will affect the total number of voting rights and shareholders will need to use the new total for disclosure calculations.
