Enstar Group Limited is a global insurance and reinsurance company based in Bermuda, specializing in acquiring and managing companies and portfolios in run-off. In its latest earnings report for the first quarter of 2025, Enstar reported a net income of $59 million, a decrease from $128 million in the same period last year. The company’s total revenues were $204 million, down from $253 million in the previous year, primarily due to lower net investment income and fair value changes in trading securities. Despite the decline in net income, Enstar’s financial position remains robust with total assets of $20.34 billion and shareholders’ equity of $6.21 billion. Looking ahead, Enstar is focused on completing its merger with Elk Bidco Limited, expected to close in mid-2025, which will result in the company becoming privately held.
