Enquest ( (GB:ENQ) ) has shared an announcement.
EnQuest has completed the settlement of a new $675 million issue of 9⅞% senior notes due 2031, priced at 99.038% and guaranteed by certain subsidiaries, with interest payable semi-annually. The transaction refinances higher-cost debt by redeeming in full the company’s $465 million 11⅝% senior notes due 2027 and supports liquidity through additional cash on the balance sheet.
The company plans to use part of the proceeds, together with existing cash, to redeem its £133.3 million 9% retail notes due 2027 and to fund general corporate purposes, including potential further debt repayment or refinancing. By extending its debt maturity profile and lowering its coupon on a large portion of borrowings, EnQuest is reducing near-term refinancing risk and interest expense, strengthening its capital structure and offering greater financial flexibility for stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:ENQ) stock is a Buy with a £25.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Enquest stock, see the GB:ENQ Stock Forecast page.
