EnQuest PLC, a notable player in the energy sector, has recently bought back 326,744 of its own shares through Merrill Lynch, with prices ranging from 12.12 to 12.70 GBp per share. The company has now purchased over 26.5 million shares since April, spending close to £3.7 million, with the majority designated for an Employee Benefit Trust and a portion for cancellation, thereby slightly reducing the total shares in issue and the total voting rights.
