Enquest ( (GB:ENQ) ) has provided an update.
EnQuest PLC has expanded its South East Asian portfolio by signing the Cendramas Production Sharing Contract in Peninsular Malaysia through its wholly owned affiliate, EnQuest Petroleum Production Malaysia Ltd. The agreement, sanctioned by PETRONAS via Malaysia Petroleum Management, positions EnQuest alongside partners Medco Asia Pacific Limited and DIALOG Resources Sdn Bhd in a new upstream venture.
Under the joint operating and PSC terms, EnQuest will hold a 25% participating interest in the Cendramas block, matching DIALOG’s 25% stake, while Medco will own 50% and act as operator from 23 September 2026. The move strengthens EnQuest’s presence in Malaysia and underscores its strategy of targeting mature and underinvested assets, potentially enhancing long-term production optionality and regional growth opportunities.

Spark’s Take on ENQ Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ENQ is a Neutral.
Overall score reflects a mixed financial base: solid but recently weakening cash generation alongside volatile profitability and a leveraged balance sheet. Technicals are moderately supportive on a medium-term basis but show neutral-to-soft near-term momentum. Valuation is held back by negative earnings despite a modest dividend, while earnings-call guidance and deleveraging progress provide a partial offset.
