EnQuest PLC has announced a new agreement to develop additional gas resources at the Seligi field in Malaysia, in partnership with PETRONAS Carigali and E&P Malaysia Venture. This agreement, effective from January 2025, allows EnQuest to supply 70 mmscf per day of sales gas by modifying its existing infrastructure, enhancing its production of non-associated gas and supporting Malaysia’s energy needs. The initiative aligns with EnQuest’s strategy to reduce carbon intensity and emphasizes Malaysia as a key growth area for the company.
