ENGIE SA Expands U.S. Energy Storage Leadership

Engie SA (FR:ENGI) has released an update.

ENGIE SA has significantly expanded its battery energy storage systems in the United States, reaching over 1.8 GW in capacity, with 1 GW added since January 2024. This growth, fueled by the acquisition of Broad Reach Power, positions ENGIE as a leader in the U.S. energy transition, aiming for a global capacity of 10 GW by 2030. The company’s diverse portfolio, including both standalone and solar-coupled storage projects, enhances grid flexibility and supports the integration of renewable energy.
