ENGIE SA Expands Brazilian Energy Infrastructure

Engie SA (FR:ENGI) has released an update.

ENGIE SA has secured a 30-year concession to construct and operate approximately 1000 kilometers of transmission lines and two substations across five Brazilian states, enhancing the country’s energy infrastructure. This expansion consolidates ENGIE’s presence in South America, with nearly 8,000 kilometers of transmission lines in their portfolio, supporting the integration of renewable energies and contributing to the energy transition. The company’s financial performance remains robust, with a 2023 turnover of €82.6 billion and listings on major stock exchanges, reflecting its commitment to a carbon-neutral economy.
