Energy World Corporation Ltd has announced the sale of its 51% stake in the Sengkang Production Sharing Contract (Sengkang PSC) to PT EMP Energi Jaya for US$35 million. The Sengkang PSC, which includes the Kampung Baru and Wasambo gas fields in Indonesia, is a significant asset with production potential until 2042. The transaction, which does not require shareholder approval, is set to close on 31 October 2024.
