Energy Transition Minerals Ltd has launched a A$10 million exploration program at its flagship Kvanefjeld rare earth project in Greenland, re-establishing an in-country development team and securing experienced drilling and support contractors. The 2026 field season, expected to run from May to September, will focus on high-priority targets at Zone 3 and Sorensen, with up to 7,600 metres of helicopter-supported diamond drilling and comprehensive airborne geophysical surveys across the Ilimaussaq Intrusive Complex.
The initiative is designed to advance future mine planning, logistics and development options while meeting regulatory commitments and adhering to international safety standards. Ahead of mobilisation, ETM has stepped up community engagement in Narsaq, outlining potential local employment, training opportunities and broader economic benefits, signalling an effort to strengthen social licence and integrate the project more deeply into the regional economy.
