Enea AB ( (SE:ENEA) ) has provided an announcement.
Enea’s Nomination Committee has proposed Robert Andersson as the new Chairman of the Board, to be elected at the company’s Annual General Meeting on 7 May 2026, following current Chairman Kjell Duveblad’s decision not to stand for re-election. Andersson, who previously served on Enea’s board and has held senior roles at Oriola, Telia Company and Nokia, is seen as well placed to steer the next phase of Enea’s development, signalling a planned leadership transition that aims to strengthen the company’s strategic direction and governance.
The Nomination Committee highlighted Andersson’s extensive executive and board experience and deep industry knowledge as key assets for guiding Enea’s board work in a period of continued transformation in telecom and cybersecurity markets. Duveblad, who has been a board member since 2008 and chairman since 2023, is thanked for his long-standing contributions, while the full slate of proposals for the AGM will be detailed in the forthcoming meeting notice, underscoring a structured and orderly succession process for stakeholders.
