Endesa Divests Stake in Solar Subsidiary to Masdar

Endesa SA (ES:ELE) has released an update.

Endesa, through its subsidiary Enel Green Power España, has sold a 49.99% stake in its operational solar PV installations in Spain to Masdar for €817 million, valuing the subsidiary EGPE Solar at approximately €1.7 billion. This deal, expected to close in Q4 2024, enables Endesa to maximize value while maintaining control, as part of its strategic plan to partner on strategic assets. Additionally, both companies are considering a joint venture to develop new renewable projects in Spain.
