Encounter Resources Limited has reported promising initial assay results from aircore drilling at the Green target in West Arunta, revealing a significant carbonatite complex with niobium-REE mineralisation extending over 1.6km and remaining open. The findings from the first four drill sections indicate high-grade niobium presence, confirming the potential of the area’s mineral wealth. With the trend approaching the Stromness fault, further assay results are anticipated, and additional close-spaced drilling is underway to delineate the extent of the mineralisation.
