EMVision Medical Devices Ltd has completed the Proof of Concept for their Gen 2 First Responder device, designed to transform emergency diagnostics for stroke and traumatic brain injury by providing full brain coverage with a lightweight, portable scanner. Meeting a milestone under its partnership with the Australian Stroke Alliance, the company is set to receive a $600,000 payment. The device’s potential for early intervention is expected to greatly benefit patient care and reduce healthcare costs, especially in remote areas.
