Empire Energy Group Limited has announced the execution of contracts for drilling and fracture stimulation of the Carpentaria-5H well in the Beetaloo Basin, with operations expected to begin in late October 2024. Ensign Australia Pty Limited has been contracted for drilling, utilizing the advanced Ensign Rig 965, while Halliburton will handle the high-capacity fracture stimulation. The company is preparing for pilot production sales by mid-2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
