EMP Metals ( (TSE:EMPS) ) has shared an announcement.
EMP Metals and its Project Aurora partner Saltworks Technologies have secured $1 million in funding from British Columbia’s Integrated Marketplace program to advance next-generation lithium refining technology. Under the initiative, Saltworks will complete and dispatch a Generation-II lithium refining demonstration system from its B.C. facilities to EMP Metals’ active lithium brine well in Saskatchewan.
The project will serve as a mining and critical minerals testbed, generating performance data and a market assessment under real operating conditions to de-risk commercial deployment. Company executives and provincial officials say the support validates EMP Metals’ development strategy, strengthens B.C.’s clean-tech manufacturing base, and aims to enhance Canada’s domestic capacity in low-impact, high-purity lithium chemicals production for the clean energy transition.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:EMPS) stock is a Sell with a C$0.52 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on EMP Metals stock, see the TSE:EMPS Stock Forecast page.
