Emmerson PLC, a potash development company focused on Morocco, announced the successful passage of all proposed resolutions at their Annual General Meeting. The company is developing the Khemisset project, aiming to become a low-cost, high-margin potash supplier and Africa’s first primary producer, with promises of significant economic contributions to Morocco. Highlighting the project’s strong financial prospects, updated estimates report a net present value of US$2.2 billion and an impressive internal rate of return of approximately 40%.
