EML Payments Ltd. has successfully sold its non-core Sentenial business, including Nuapay, to GoCardless Ltd for €32.75 million, strengthening its balance sheet by transitioning from net debt to net cash and enhancing liquidity to support future growth. The sale aligns with EML’s strategy to streamline operations and address unprofitable segments, with the added possibility of earning additional revenue from an earnout agreement based on Sentenial’s performance.
