eMetals Limited ( (AU:EMT) ) has provided an update.
eMetals Limited has begun field activities at its Mineral Range Tungsten Project in Beaver County, Utah, where it holds 100% of 109 mineral claims over 2,072 acres along a 12-kilometre strike of the Mineral Range batholith. The work follows the recent acquisition of the project and aims to apply modern exploration techniques to an historically productive tungsten district that has not previously been systematically explored.
Initial work includes compiling historic maps and geological data into a unified GIS framework and undertaking detailed geological and structural mapping, rock chip sampling and selective re-entry into underground workings. Early rock chip assays from a director’s field visit have already returned multiple high-grade tungsten results, supporting the focus on garnet-rich skarn zones near the historic Garnet Mine, with ongoing efforts intended to refine priority drill targets and expand known mineralised zones.
