Emera Inc. has reported a significant increase in reported EPS to $0.45 in Q2 2024 from $0.10 in Q2 2023, largely due to a strategic asset sale. Despite this, adjusted EPS fell slightly due to higher operating costs and investments in customer service. The company’s Florida operations showed strength with higher earnings, and Emera is progressing with a $2.9 billion capital deployment in 2024 as part of a broader investment strategy.
